• Hey Guest Did you know in signal processing, data compression, source coding or bit-rate reduction involves encoding information using fewer bits than the original representation. Compression can be either lossy or lossless. Lossless compression reduces bits by identifying and eliminating statistical redundancy. No information is lost in lossless compression. Lossy compression reduces bits by removing unnecessary or less important information.

KGB Archiver is able to successfully compress the majority of file types that are in existence. These will then be sent and stored into a desired folder. The files can thereafter be opened with this utility or other standard decompression tools such as WinZip. There are a number of different compression settings and these are intended to shrink the file size down to a desired level. It is very easy to work with and a user-friendly interface will not generally require much previous experience with using this type of package.
